Since the enactment in 1991 of the Louisiana Riverboat Economic Development and Gaming Control Act, the Firm has been actively involved in representing clients affected by the statute. The Firm has an extensive practice in matters pertaining to gaming law, including licensing, project development, financing and other regulatory matters. Gaming representations include:

 Acting on behalf of the Louisiana Attorney General in representing the State of Louisiana and the Louisiana Gaming Control Board in connection with litigation against Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., involving the landbased casino in New Orleans.

 Serving as Louisiana general counsel for Argosy Gaming Company and its affiliated entities d/b/a Argosy Casino-Baton Rouge and the Centroplex Centre Convention Hotel.
