Cyrus J. Greco

Of Counsel

Cyrus Greco has been practicing law in Baton Rouge for over 40 years. Mr. Greco graduated from Southeastern Louisiana College with a B.A. He received his J.D. from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center.  He was admitted to practice in 1963. He practices before Louisiana courts, United States District Courts, Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, and United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.

Mr. Greco served as Executive Counsel to Governor David Treen and is a member of the Louisiana State and American Bar Associations. He is a past president of the Baton Rouge Bar Association and the Louisiana Bar Foundation. Mr. Greco was a member of the Board of Governors of the Louisiana State Bar Association for six years. He is also a member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and of the American Judicature Society. Mr. Greco is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and was an adjunct professor at the LSU Law School from 1974- 2003 where he taught Advanced Litigation.

His practice areas include federal and state civil litigation, business and commercial litigation, trial practice, federal criminal law, business crimes, and environmental criminal defense.

He has been selected for inclusion in Louisiana Super Lawyers.
