Imelda Frugé is a Partner at Taylor Porter and practices primarily in insurance defense and professional liability defense with a focus on medical malpractice.

She received her J.D. from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1997 and a B.S. in Nursing from Loyola University in 1993. Imelda also received an A.D. from the University of Texas at Pan American in 1987.

Imelda is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana as well as the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mrs. Frugé is a member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.

In the community, Mrs. Frugé is an active member at St. Jude Catholic Church.
