Juan J. Miranda is an associate with Taylor Porter practicing in the areas of environmental regulatory and litigation, patent prosecution, and general litigation.

Juan is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state and federal courts. He is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Juan graduated from Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2014. He was a member of the Chancellor’s List, Moot Court Board, a CALI award recipient and an Immigration Law Clinic participant.
Juan received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans, where he was a member of Pi Tau Sigma Honorary Mechanical Engineering Society and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Prior to attending law school, Juan worked as a mechanical and project engineer with Cornerstone Chemical where his responsibilities included maintaining plant mechanical integrity as required per OSHA’s Process Safety Management Standards, budgeting for and implementing capital projects and participating in process hazard analysis and root cause analysis. Juan is also licensed as an engineering intern in the state of Louisiana.
At Taylor Porter, Juan is a member of the firm's Diversity Committee.
In his spare time, Juan enjoys playing soccer, running and traveling.
