Lauren Rivera Hadden is an Associate at Taylor Porter practicing in the Employment, Labor and Benefits area, as well as Environmental Law and Products Liability.
Lauren is admitted to practice in all Federal and state courts throughout Louisiana. She has argued in front of the United States Court of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit in a complex, criminal conspiracy trial.
Lauren earned her J.D. in 2015 from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. While in law school, Lauren was a Chancellor’s Scholar, served as a Senior Associate of the Louisiana Law Review and as the Managing Editor and Contributing News Writer for The Civilian newspaper. She earned the CALI awards in Louisiana Tort Law, Louisiana Law of Obligations, and Labor Law. She was also the Programming Director for the LSU Law Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta.
Prior to attending law school, Lauren lobbied for AARP Louisiana as a registered lobbyist with the Louisiana Board of Ethics. She also worked for Governor Jindal during his 2012 reelection campaign.
Lauren graduated cum laude from Louisiana State University, in 2012, with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a focus on Political Communications and a minor in History.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys tailgating at LSU games, traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors.
In the community, Lauren has volunteered and participated in many fundraising events on behalf of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, as well as the Ronald McDonald House of Memphis, both of which hold a special place in Lauren’s heart.
