M. Lenore Feeney’s primary areas of practice include labor and employment and education law. Initially, her practice was concentrated in the area of general litigation; however, in 1990, she began working with the Labor and Employment Law group at Taylor Porter. Since then, she has lectured on employment issues and conducted employee training. Ms. Feeney has represented clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as well as the State Civil Service Commission.
Ms. Feeney received her Juris Doctorate from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in January 1988, and she joined the law firm of Taylor Porter, L.L.P., as an associate that year. She was made partner in 1992. Ms. Feeney is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Feeney has also been active in the Baton Rouge community, having served on the boards of the Capital Area Family Violence Intervention Center, the Foundation for Historical Louisiana, the Friends of LSU Hilltop Arboretum and the EBRP Master Gardeners Association.
