W. Luther Wilson is of counsel with Taylor Porter and has been practicing law for more than 45 years. Mr. Wilson specializes in Medical Malpractice defense, and additionally, he is a qualified mediator. His other concentrated practice areas include drug and medical device litigation, products liability, general insurance and corporate defense, and First Amendment litigation.
Mr. Wilson received his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University, where he was a member of Order of the Coif, Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Alpha Delta, and Louisiana Law Review. He is an active member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute, and The American Board of Trial Advocates.
Mr. Wilson serves as a Vice Chancellor for the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana. He has served as Chair of the Advisory Council of the LSU School of the Coast and Environment and on the Council of the Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium.
