Cindy Amedee graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in 2001 and obtained her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center in 2008, graduating magna cum laude.  Ms. Amedee was a Junior and Senior Editor of the Southern University Law Review and a recipient of the 2007 Federal Courts Award.  She is a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity and Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Beta Kappa Honor Societies.  Ms. Amedee is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Louisiana.

Before joining Taylor Porter, Ms. Amedee worked as legal assistant and paralegal.
