Jennifer M. Sigler’s areas of practice include toxic tort litigation, including asbestos litigation; higher education litigation, including employment matters; real estate and commercial transactions; and public contract and procurement for colleges and universities.
Ms. Sigler received her Bachelor of Arts in English, graduating cum laude from Louisiana Tech University in 1996, and her Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2000. While in law school, she was a member of the 1999-2000 Moot Court Board and a semi-finalist in the 1999-2000 Tullis Moot Court Competition. She has been admitted to all federal courts in Louisiana and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Sigler is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Governmental Lawyers Section of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Baton Rouge Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute. In addition, she has volunteered for several years for Special Olympics, the Academic Distinction Fund, and Volunteers in Public Schools. Ms. Sigler also serves on the firm’s Hiring Committee.
