Margaret Tooke’s practice areas include commercial litigation, including insurance coverage disputes and construction disputes.

Ms. Tooke joined the firm in 1989, immediately after her admission to the bar. She received her J.D. from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1989 and a B.S. from University of Houston in 1979. She is admitted in all districts of United States District Courts in Louisiana.

Ms. Tooke is a member of the Baton Rouge, Louisiana and American Bar Associations and a member of the Defense Research Institute. She is a member of the State Bar Association’s Crystal Gavel Awards Committee and coordinates the firm’s pro-bono work through the Baton Rouge Bar Association. She is interested in the arts and is a Past President of the Baton Rouge Gallery, Inc., a non-profit art gallery. She is a Board and Executive Committee Member of the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and serves on the fundraising cabinet for the Community Fund for the Arts.
