Fourteen Taylor Porter Attorneys Ranked Among 2017 Louisiana Super Lawyers, Rising Stars

Taylor Porter had 14 attorneys named to the 2017 lists of Louisiana Super Lawyers and Rising Stars, which will be will be printed in the March/April 2017 issue of Louisiana Life and the February 2017 issue of St. Charles Avenue.  

​The Super Lawyers list recognizes no more than five percent of attorneys in each state. The Rising Stars list recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state. To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less. 

The seven attorneys receiving Super Lawyers honors included: Vicki Crochet – Labor and Employment; Brett Furr - Banking; Mary Hester - Estate Planning & Probate; Shelby McKenzie - Insurance Coverage; Skip Philips - General Litigation; Fred Tulley - Business Litigation; and Michael Walsh - Criminal Defense. The seven attorneys named Rising Stars included: Cindy Amedee - Health Care; Tom Easterly - Business Litigation; Ryan French - Business Litigation; Blue Loupe - Business/Corporate; Adam Thames - Personal Injury; Robin Toups - Environmental; and Trey Tumminello - Bankruptcy.

Taylor Porter Managing Partner Skip Philips was also ranked in the Top 50 in Louisiana. Each year, Super Lawyers recognizes the top lawyers in Louisiana via a patented multiphase selection process involving peer nomination, independent research and peer evaluation.
