Taylor Porter attorney Erin Sayes Kenny is featured on the cover of the June 2016 Baton Rouge Bar Association "Around The Bar" magazine as she teamed up with members of the Young Lawyers Section Council to be pictured at the YMCA to promote the June 14 luncheon featuring guest speaker LSU gymnastics head coach D-D Breaux.

Kenny is a member of the YLS which works to coordinate and implement new membership in the BRBA, to assimilate the young lawyers into the BRBA on a monthly basis so as to elicit membership as well as participation in the committee system of the BRBA; to promote professional and social understanding and cooperation among young and recently admitted lawyers; to motivate present membership to become active in the Section’s membership in general and the committee process specifically; to identify the sectors of the membership which are under-represented or relatively inactive and particularly motivate those sectors to participate actively in the BRBA and the Section; to coordinate and implement an annual new member reception and orientation with a high level of participation from the Section, the Judiciary and other invited members of the BRBA; and to take such other action and perform such other functions as the Council deems appropriate. 

Breaux will be the featured speaker at the BRBA's June Bar Luncheon on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Ruffino's Catering at De La Ronde Hall, 320 Third St. The luncheon was organized by the YLS Council.

Members of the BRBA may attend the luncheon at $30 per person, and summer law clerks are invited to attend the luncheon as well, at the same member price. Guest prices are $40 per person. Please RSVP to Kelsie Bourgeois (kelsie@brba.org) by noon, Wednesday, June 8, 2016.
