Taylor Porter attorney Ne'Shira Millender participated in Career Day on Feb. 15 at Broadmoor High School as she discussed her career as an attorney in front of the school's Civics class.
Millender is an associate with Taylor Porter, where she practices primarily in the area of commercial litigation.
Millender graduated magna cum laude from Southern University Law Center in 2014. She received her Bachelor of Arts in mass communication from Louisiana State University in 2007. Within the Baton Rouge community, she is a board member of Volunteers in Public Schools, which works to build strong partnerships between local area public schools and the community to help students achieve success. She also is a board member of the Charles W. Lamar Jr. YMCA.
Broadmoor High was founded in 1960 and is located in the historic Broadmoor neighborhood of south Baton Rouge. The school enrolls students in grades 7-11.
