Taylor Porter Partner Skip Philips served as a panel member for the Louisiana Hospital Association's 30th Annual Health Law Symposium, which took place on Nov. 1 at the LHA Conference Center in Baton Rouge.

This annual event is an opportunity for legal professionals to come together in one place and discuss trends and updates in healthcare law. Philips was joined on the panel by John Derenbecker, Chief Legal and Mission Integration Officer, North Oaks Health System; Michael DePetrillo, Director, Associate General Counsel, Ochsner Health System; and Gregory L. Waddell, Vice President of Legal, Governmental and Regulatory Affairs, Louisiana Hospital Association.

Established in 1926, the Louisiana Hospital Association (LHA) is a not-for-profit association representing all types of hospitals and healthcare systems throughout the state. The LHA carries out its mission by providing services and resources to members through advocacy, education, research, representation and communication.
