Best advice you have received: Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.

The part of my job I do best is: Listening.

Family: One of five children, which makes us all fast eaters and loud talkers.

Latest pursuit: Gardening -- thus far only two ferns have survived.

Pet peeve: Line cutters and slow walkers.

Best law school memory: Having Vice Chancellor Joseph proctor my four-hour successions exam a day earlier than planned, throughout which he randomly shared news stories he was reading that he thought I might find interesting

If you could be anyone else for a day, who would you be? Amelia Earheart.

Favorite food or restaurant: All things Mexican food.

Favorite Baton Rouge location: Saturday night in Death Valley.

Little known fact: I memorized "Madeline" when I was two years old and still know every word by heart.

What was the turning point that made you decide to become an attorney? Convincing my high school biology teacher that an exam question was vaguely worded and securing two extra points for the whole class.

If I had more time, I would: Be a better gardener.

How to you begin your day? A short walk with my dog, Memphis, and two cups of coffee.
