Taylor Porter attorney, Allie J. Amedee was published in the latest edition of The Baton Rouge Lawyer. The article “Back to Basics: Abandonment” offers information about how abandonment, the procedural device used to end prolonged inactivity in litigation, may be an option in dealing with inactive lawsuits caused by COVID-19.  

Allie joined Taylor Porter in 2022 and practices in General Tort Litigation, Commercial Litigation, and Insurance Defense. Allie received her J.D. from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2022 where she was a recipient of the Paul M. Hebert Scholar Award and the Dean Scholar Award.  She served as the Vice President of External Appellate Advocacy Competitions and was a member of the Saul Lefkowitz Law Moot Court Competition Team and the Tom Fore Phillips National Moot Court Competition Team.
