Taylor Porter Attorneys Volunteer in BRBA’s Thirst for Justice Program

Taylor Porter had eight attorneys serve as Baton Rouge Bar Association Thirst for Justice Volunteers in November, including Tommy Gildersleeve, Michelle Marney White, Luther Wilson, Mac Womack, Scott Mansfield, Ne’Shira Millender, Lauren Rivera and Kelley Dick Jr.

The Pro Bono Project provides a walk-in legal clinic every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. at the St. Vincent de Paul Bishop Ott Shelter located at 220 St. Vincent DePaul St., Baton Rouge. Volunteers provide legal counseling and advice to low income clients on matters of civil law only. Thirst for Justice is first-come, first-served.

In 2015, Taylor Porter attorneys totaled $15,000 through in-kind donation value of pro bono work for the Baton Rouge Bar Association, through its numerous pro bono programs, including Thirst for Justice, Ask A Lawyer, Wills for Heroes, etc.
