Taylor Porter Concludes Annual Summer Associate Program for Area Law Students

August 04, 2017

Taylor Porter was proud to host 16 Baton Rouge area law students from LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center and Southern University Law Center to participate in the Firm’s annual Summer Associate Program, two rounds of six weeks each.

Under the guidance of practicing Taylor Porter attorneys and mentors, our summer associates gained hands-on experience and interaction that reflected real life as a lawyer. The work ranges from case research to legal writing to shadowing attorneys at depositions, hearings, and oral arguments, and speaking with both Taylor Porter partners and associates one-on-one and learning about their personal experiences.

Our summer law clerks included: LSU law students –
Greg Barro, Hayden Bigby, Christine Colwell, Andree Comeaux, Sara Daniel, Dakota Hawkins, Sarah Nickel, Colin Peak, Annie Reed, Markeya Scott, and Savannah Walker; and Southern law students – Claire Caillier, Scott Courrege, Joseph Odom, Raymond Wilkes, and Jourdan Williams.
