Taylor Porter Hosts Five Law Students for Second Round of 2018 Summer Law Clerk Program

July 11, 2018

Taylor Porter is proud to host five students from Southern University Law Center and LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center for the second round of our Firm's 2018 Summer Law Clerk Program. Under the guidance of practicing Taylor Porter attorneys and mentors, our summer law clerks gain hands-on experience and interaction that reflect real life as a lawyer. The work ranges from case research to legal writing to shadowing attorneys at depositions, hearings, and oral arguments, and speaking with both Taylor Porter partners and associates one-on-one and learning about their personal experiences.

Taylor Porter's second round of 2018 summer law clerks include: Marissa Batiste (Southern University Law Center, 2L); Rachel Moody (LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center, 1L); William Patrick (LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center, 2L); Davis Peltier (Southern University Law Center, 2L); and Steve Spires (LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center, 1L).

Taylor Porter attorney mentors for the first round of the program include:
Mike Walsh and Lauren Hadden, mentoring Marissa Batiste; Kiki Bergeron and Ryan French, mentoring Rachel Moody; Eddie Hughes and Jonathan Moore, mentoring William Patrick; Mac Womack and Katia Bowman, mentoring Davis Peltier; and Adam Thames and Caroline Darwin, mentoring Steve Spires.
