Taylor Porter was among the more than a dozen law firms to participate in LSU Law Center's inaugural "Law Firm Information Day" held on campus on April 4, and Partner and Recruiting Committee Chair Adam Thames was interviewed in the Center's coverage of the event.

“Our firm has a great relationship with LSU Law Center, and we were pleased to come and interact and meet and greet with the students,” said Thames. “We recruit Louisiana law schools first and foremost, and it’s important for us to be here. This is a great way for us to meet some of these students.”

Sponsored by the LSU Law Center Career Services, the event allowed students the opportunity meet with law firms and network with possible employers in a more casual and relaxed setting than typical on-campus interviews. Students got the opportunity to discuss all work opportunities from summer internships to full-time employment following graduation. In addition to law firms, representatives from the Army, Navy and Marine Corps were also in attendance to talk to students about the branches’ Judge Advocate General’s Corps programs.
