Taylor Porter Participates in “Soles for Souls” Collection Drive

March 15, 2016

Taylor Porter is a participant in the "Soles for Souls" shoe collection drive, sponsored by the Kiwanis clubs in the Greater Baton Rouge area. The mission is to collect gently worn shoes that will be sent by funds2orgs to hub operators in countries like Haiti, Uganda and India, who then distribute the shoes to "micro-enterprises"- families that have little to no income - who then clean, do minor repairs and resell the shoes at prices that can be afforded in the local communities.

Led by Taylor Porter attorney Erin Sayes Kenny, who chairs the Baton Rouge Bar Association Volunteer Committee, Taylor Porter is getting involved in the drive to collect shoes in the law firm's office by April 1. Donations can also be made through Jeff Wittenbrink at jwittenbrink@rowelaw.net

In the community, Taylor Porter attorneys and staff embrace the role of “corporate citizens” — and our firm understands that community stewardship requires an ongoing commitment from our entire firm. Whether serving on the boards of directors of nonprofit organizations or making contributions to worthwhile causes, our attorneys and staff make significant contributions to the communities in which they live and work.
