Taylor Porter Partner Blue Loupe Graduates from BR Biz Report Leadership Academy

Taylor Porter Partner Blue Loupe graduated from the 2019 Spring Executive Class of the Baton Rouge Business Report Leadership Academy.

Offered twice yearly, in the spring and fall, the Academy has become a sought-after, energizing and career-enhancing program for advancing professionals and entrepreneurs offering personal development, professional growth, leadership exposure and insight from guest CEO speakers. The attendees represent a wide variety of industries as well as the nonprofit and government sectors. Eligible participants include professionals with a minimum of five years of business experience and/or manage a team, and who are on the fast track for increased responsibility at any level of an organization are eligible for the academy.

Practicing law since 2006, Loupe is engaged primarily in commercial transactions, and his experience includes organizing business entities, negotiating and drafting asset purchase agreements, stock sale agreements, commercial leases, loan and security documents, master service agreements, conducting title examinations, and assisting in loan workouts. He has been ranked by his peers for two consecutive years among the 2017 and 2018 Louisiana Super Lawyers' Rising Stars in Business/Corporate Law. 

Loupe is admitted to practice in both Louisiana and North Carolina. He is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. In the community, Loupe is a member of the board and serves as Treasurer of the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra.

Loupe graduated, with distinction, from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2002. He received his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2005.
