Taylor Porter was a participant of and booth sponsor in the 2017 National Association of Licensing and Compliance Professionals (NALCP) Conference, held in San Diego. The theme of the conference was the "Return to the Roaring Twenties," so Taylor Porter dressed its booth with a Great Gatsby theme.
Taylor Porter licensing attorneys Dick Easterling and Erin Sayes Kenny both attended the conference. The NALCP is a nonprofit comprised of in-house hospitality licensing and compliance professionals specializing in on and off premises retail liquor licensing. Formed in 2006, NALCP is the first and only organization of its kind to provide services, support and networking on behalf of the hospitality industry’s in-house liquor licensing professionals. NALCP Members include licensing professionals from various industries including restaurants, entertainment venues, hotels, grocery and other retail services.
The regulatory and land use compliance work of Taylor Porter attorneys encompasses all phases of alcohol beverage licensing and enforcement, working with our clients through the heavily regulated industry that can present multiple and at times, complex, local, state, and federal compliance issues. Our attorneys have developed a deep understanding of state and local statutes, rules, and regulations pertaining to alcohol beverage licensing and compliance. They assist clients in applying and maintaining alcohol and tobacco licenses as well as renewing and handling changes which affect their licenses.
