​Taylor Porter was a proud "Impact Sponsor" of the 2018 Boys & Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge's annual signature event and fundraiser, "Steak & Stake," held Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Renaissance Hotel. Steak & Stake is an evening set aside annually to celebrate and recognize the Club's corporate donors. Money raised through this corporate campaign supports programs for school-age youth which focus on academics, health, and character. COX Communications served as the mission sponsor for this year's fundraiser.

​Taylor Porter Partners Erin Sayes Kenny and John McDermott are on the local Boys & Girls Club Board of Trustees, while Kenny also served as a member of the Steak & Stake event committee. In addition to Kenny and McDermott, Taylor Porter was represented at this year's event by Taylor Porter Partners John Murrill and Mike Walsh.

​This year, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge is celebrating its 37th Birthday, serving the community since 1981, to change the lives of youth every day through after-school and summer enrichment, violence prevention and Youth Legislature programs.
