"The PPP and Economic Inclusion" - Monday, July 13, 2020, 10:30 a.m.

The Paycheck Protection Program has been a lifeline for businesses to grab onto during the COVID19 pandemic. Congress recently extended the application deadline to the beginning of August. This extension is giving businesses that have not yet applied or that have had trouble applying more time to seek this important assistance. The federal Inspector General has reported that Minority-owned and rural businesses have been less likely to access the loan than their White-owned, urban, and suburban counterparts. Join BRAC and the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southern University on July 13 at 10:30 a.m. as a panel of  business owners discuss their experiences accessing, applying for, and using the PPP.
