Taylor Porter was a proud sponsor of the 2016 Red, Rock & Blue, an annual summertime charity fundraiser benefitting Louisiana military charities, with various spinoff events for worthy causes.

The events kicked off with The Doucet/Begnaud Invitational – Softball/Kick Ball Tournament, held at Oak Villa Softball Complex, on June 24-26. The tournament drew a  total of nearly 80 teams to Oak Villa Softball Complex, up from roughly 35 teams just several years before.

On June 10, there was a Red, Rock & Blue Charity Concert held at Lava Cantina, which delivers an evening of music each year and more importantly raises funds for the Louisiana military. This year's event featured Sugar Ray, Everclear, Lit and Sponge.

On July 22, there will be a "Celebrity/Sorta Celebrity Softball Game" at the Cypress Mounds Complex. “The Celebrity/Sorta Celebrity Softball Game” is played in the spirit of M-TV’s “Rock N Jock” softball affair, which the network aired back in the late 80’s and early 90’s. This contest gathers some of Louisiana’s most well-known athletes and personalities to participate in an entertaining, light hearted affair to benefit Louisiana military.
