CEOs from Top Baton Rouge Contractors to Discuss Latest Impacts on Industry and Construction Economy

The Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and the Pelican Chapter, Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) will produce a South Louisiana Construction Economic Forum, with a panel of the top CEOs from Baton Rouge contractors and an economic forecast for the south Louisiana construction industry, to take place on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at L’Auberge Baton Rouge.

The law firm of Taylor Porter and the accounting firm of Hannis T. Bourgeois LLP are the presenting sponsors of the event.

Registration closes on Nov. 13, and is available here. CFA members are free and allowed one guest; ABC members are $25; and general admission is $40.

The welcome and introduction of the panel will begin at 3 p.m., followed by the panel at 3:15 p.m., moderated by Dan Borne, President of the Louisiana Chemical Association. Panelists include Newton Thomas, President of The Newtron Group; Roland Toups, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Turner Industries Group, L.L.C.; David Roberts, Owner of EXCEL Group; and Andy Dupuy, Brown & Root Industrial Services CEO.

Bourgeois.

Following the panel, remarks will be given by Stuart Binstock, President of the CFMA.

The economic forecast presentation will commence at 4:30 p.m. and delivered by Anirban Basu, Chairman and CEO of Sage Policy Group and Chief Economist for CFMA and ABC.
