Taylor Porter Sponsors Successful Inaugural South Louisiana Construction Economic Forum

Taylor Porter was proud to partner with several businesses on Thursday for the inaugural South Louisiana Construction Economic Forum that brought together executives from some of the top Baton Rouge construction companies to discuss the current state of the industry, and the event also included a 2016 industry outlook by Anirban Basu, chief economist for Construction Financial Management Association and Associated Builders and Contractors. The event, which drew approximately 300 people, was held at L'Auberge Baton Rouge Hotel and Casino, and the event was covered in an article in The Advocate, "Louisiana Construction Industry Expects Strong 2016." 

The forum was organized by Construction Financial Management Association and Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. Pelican Chapter.

The feature panel was moderated by Dan Borne, President of the Louisiana Chemical Association, and speakers included Newton Thomas,CEO of The Newtron Group; Andy Dupuy, CEO of Brown & Root Industrial Services; and Conrad Bourg, President of James Industrial.
