Taylor Porter is sponsoring the Theatre Baton Rouge production of "Into the Woods," scheduled for March 4-20, at the Capital Series Main Stage. "Into the Woods" is a production based off a book by James Lapine, directed by Jason Bayle, and music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

The TONY Award-winning play and score follows a baker and his wife who wish to have a child; Cinderella who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack who wishes that his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn they can’t have a child because of a witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them. The original Broadway production received three Tony Awards, a Grammy, and inspired the hit 2014 movie starring Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, and Anna Kendrick.
