Taylor Porter was a proud sponsor of the YMCA of the Capital Area’s 7th Annual Beyond the Green Golf Tournament, held Oct. 2 at Santa Maria Golf Course. Nearly $50,000 was raised during the tournament to help provide scholarships for youth sports, summer camp, swim lessons and other YMCA programs.

The tournament included a luncheon where the YMCA presented its Beyond the Green Award to Barry Blumberg, president and founder of Blumberg Associates Inc. The award honors a person in the community who exemplifies the YMCA’s character development traits of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
