Taylor Porter is a sponsor of the 2017 YMCA Gingerbread Jog that takes place on Saturday, Dec. 16, at City-Brooks Park (LSU Lakes), and will include a 5k run and a one-mile family run/dog walk. The walk will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the 5K will begin at 9 a.m. The event benefits YMCA programs for kids.

There will be an after-race celebration and party, including food, music, kids' activities, gingerbread cookie decorating, and an ugly sweater contest for both humans and pets. Parking is available at Lakeside, Raising Cane's Dog Park, and McKinley Middle Magnet School.

Race day registration is open frorm 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
