​Taylor Porter is a proud recipient of the 2018 “Douglas Manship, Sr. Torch Award for Ethics in Business,” a prestigious honor bestowed by the Better Business Bureau of South Central Louisiana.

Honorees were recognized at the BBB’s 18th Annual Torch Awards Banquet on October 23, at L’Auberge. Taylor Porter received the honor in the 100-299 employee-size group, and additional honorees included Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Louisiana (300 or more employees); AccuTemp Services (11-99 employees); and Dale Buys Houses Now (1-10 employees).

Established in 2001 in memory of Douglas Manship, Sr., this award recognizes businesses that are committed to the highest standards of leadership, character, ethics, and trust among employees, customers and communities. The BBB of South Central La. serves 12 parishes including Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, St. James, Tangipahoa, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana Parishes.
