Taylor Porter is a proud supporter of "Party with a Purpose!" - a fundraiser Saturday, Jan. 6, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Cane Land Distilling Company (760 Saint Philip Street), to celebrate the progress and heroism of East Baton Rouge Parish Deputy Nick Tullier, who was shot July 17, 2016, in the line of duty and is still fighting on the road to recovery.

​Tickets can be purchased for $25 in advance, and also $30 at the door. There will be live music provided by The Drew Danzy Band, local food provided by Barbosa BBQ, and 20 percent of all drink purchase proceeds are going back to the family as additional donations thanks to Cane Land Distilling Co. There will be an area set aside to write words of encouragement to Nick that we will put together in a book, a raffle and a T-shirt sale.
