Taylor Porter’s November Environmental Regulatory Alert

December 01, 2015

In keeping with Taylor Porter’s commitment to its environmental clients to actively monitor the latest state and federal regulatory developments, our firm is pleased to share a monthly Environmental Regulatory Alert. In this month’s issue,  the LDEQ announces that it has initiated rulemaking procedures to revise the current RECAP provisions and proposes a “reorganization” of the waste tire regulations by implementing statutory changes adopted by Act 427 of the 2015 Legislative Session, expediting approval of certain end-market uses and prohibiting the waste tire standards and requirements from including disposal as an end-market use of eligible waste tire material.
