Taylor Porter’s October Environmental Regulatory Alert

November 04, 2015

In keeping with Taylor Porter’s commitment to its environmental clients to actively monitor the latest state and federal regulatory developments, our firm is pleased to share a monthly Environmental Regulatory Alert. In this month’s issue,  the LDEQ has ruled that emission reductions claimed as offset credits no longer need to be decreases of the same regulated pollutant or class. The rule allows for increases of one ozone precursor (NOX or VOC) to be offset with decreases of the other ozone precursor, subject to LDEQ and EPA approval.
