Thames Presents “Managing Your Expert” at BR Paralegal Luncheon

Taylor Porter Partner Adam Thames served as the February CLE Luncheon guest speaker for The Baton Rouge Paralegal Association’s event held Feb. 16 at Mike Anderson’s. Thames presented the talk, "Managing Your Expert."

The Baton Rouge Paralegal Association, Inc. is the area's oldest professional paralegal association. Formed in 1984, the Baton Rouge Paralegal Association is very active in the legal community and provides opportunities for continuing legal education and professional development. It also fosters networking among paralegals in the Baton Rouge area.

Taylor Porter's Rebecca Arceneaux serves as the 2nd Vice President of BRPA.

At Taylor Porter, Thames is engaged primarily in civil and appellate litigation, including commercial, construction, and tort litigation, medical malpractice, personal injury, workers’ compensation and insurance defense. In 2011, he was elected by his peers as a council member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Baton Rouge Bar Association. Additionally, he is active in the Louisiana State Bar Association, Baton Rouge Bar Association, Louisiana Sports Law Association and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, where he completed its extensive trial academy training program. Thames is a contributing writer to Around the Bar, the magazine of the Baton Rouge Bar Association.
