Jennfier Baker joined the Baton Rouge office of Taylor Porter in 2024 as an Associate. She practices in commercial litigation, unfair competition, and real estate, land use, and property rights law.
Prior to joining Taylor Porter, Jennifer served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable John W. deGravelles of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. During her time as a judicial law clerk, Jennifer gained valuable experience in various areas of federal law including voting rights, Section 1983, Title VII, and Title IX. Jennifer has also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable John W. deGravelles of United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana and the Honorable Wendy B. Vitter of United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
While in law school, Jennifer served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Louisiana Law Review and was a recipient of the CALI award in Legal Research and Writing & Basic Civil Procedure I.
