Sebastian Caballero Ashton

Sebastian Ashton is Special Counsel at Taylor Porter and practices primarily in the areas of insurance regulation and litigation, premises liability, commercial litigation, and construction litigation.  Her experience includes representation of national and international clients.  Her construction practice has included professional liability defense of design professionals and representation of contractors and subcontractors in various aspects of litigation for both commercial and residential construction projects.  Sebastian also represents clients in contract negotiations and disputes. 

With almost 20 years of litigation and transactional experience, Sebastian is dedicated to positive client relationships and delivering valuable professional services for her clients.

Sebastian received her J.D. and B.C.L. from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2005. She received a B.A. in Mass Communications from Louisiana State University in 2000.  She is admitted to practice in Louisiana State and Federal Courts.  She is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association.

In the community, Sebastian supports and volunteers at Catholic High, St. Aloysius Catholic Church, St. Aloysius School, and the St. Aloysius Child Care Center. She enjoys contributing to the needs of the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and St. Jude Children’s Hospital. She has participated in Woman’s Bust Breast Cancer and is a member of the University Club Tennis Association.  

Sebastian and her husband, Chip, enjoy having three active sons, who are involved in sports and various activities.
