Taylor Dunne

Taylor Dunne joined Taylor Porter in 2021 and practices primarily with the Environmental Regulation and Litigation team.

Prior to joining the firm, Taylor was a law clerk for Magistrate Judge Karen L. Hayes and Magistrate Judge Kayla D. McClusky in the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana (Monroe Division), where she gained experience in a broad array of federal civil matters including Section 1983 civil rights actions, Title VII employment discrimination actions, and intellectual property disputes. Taylor is a registered Patent Attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Taylor earned her J.D., cum laude, in 2020 from Tulane University Law School. She was a member of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal and the senior notes comments editor. In recognition of her service on the journal, Taylor received the Admiralty Law Institute Award, the Robert Acomb Award, and the A.N. Yiannopoulos Award for Outstanding Substance and Citation Editing. Taylor graduated from Louisiana State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a minor in Classical Civilization.

In the community, Taylor sits on the Board of Directors of the Dream Day Foundation, a local organization committed to supporting the efforts of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In her spare time, Taylor enjoys her craft as a homebrewer.
