Colin T. Peak

Associate

Colin Peak is an Associate at Taylor Porter, where he practices in various areas of general commercial litigation and environmental law. Colin is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, in the United States District Courts for the Middle, Eastern, and Western Districts of Louisiana.

Before entering his legal practice, Colin was a judicial law clerk for the late Honorable James Brady at the United States District Court Middle District of Louisiana. Through various law firm clerkships, including at Taylor Porter, Colin gained further experience in litigation, environmental law, insurance, and successions and trusts. 

Colin earned his J.D. in 2018 from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he participated in the Flory Trial advocacy competition, and he also received the CALI award in products liability. Colin earned his bachelor of science in biology from Millsaps College, where he was a member of the Millsaps Majors baseball team for all four years, and also received an academic scholarship.

​​In his spare time, Colin enjoys weightlifting, playing golf, and following politics.
