French to Speak on Coastal Trespassing at LSU School of Renewable Natural Resources

Taylor Porter attorney Ryan French will be a guest presenter at the LSU School of Renewable Natural Resources for "Science Thursday" and speak on, "Fishing vs. Trespassing: Coastal Louisiana Property Ownership." The presentation will take place at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5 in Room 142 RNR, preceded by social networking at 5:45 p.m. in the RNR lobby.

In June 2017, French authored "
Gone Trespassin': Why Your Next Fishing Trip Might Be A Criminal Activity," published in the Baton Rouge Bar Association magazine, "Around The Bar."

Practicing law since 2012, French handles cases in a variety of areas, including commercial litigation, complex litigation, property rights litigation, construction litigation, church property law, and white collar criminal defense. He has been ranked by his peers for five consecutive years (2015-2019) among Louisiana Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” in Business Litigation, and also by Best Lawyers in America (2020) in Commercial Litigation.

French graduated from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, and he boasts a background in accounting and finance, having obtained a B.S. in accounting from LSU.
