Taylor Porter LLP is pleased announce that Managing Partner, Bob Barton, was elected to serve as the Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) General Counsel.

Mr. Barton represents local and national businesses in matters involving commercial litigation and transactions, regulatory and compliance matters, and general litigation.  Bob is a mediator with The Patterson Resolution Group.  He received mediation training through the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.  Bob is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee.

Bob previously served as a member of the BRAC Business Development Advisory Council and Board of Directors. He continues to be involved in the community as a member of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI) Board of Directors and the Manship Theatre Board of Directors.  He was previously a member of Hope Ministries Board of Directors.
