Taylor Porter is pleased to announce that Matthew Bond Pettaway has joined the Firm as Special Counsel in the Lake Charles office practicing in the areas of civil litigation, bankruptcy law, insurance coverage disputes, breach of contract disputes, debt collection, creditors' rights, employment law, construction law, and business and commercial law.

Matt Pettaway earned his J.D. and D.C.L. in 2010 from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, and he obtained his B.S. in Business Management from LSU in 2006. Mr. Pettaway has been a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association since 2010 and is licensed to practice in Louisiana state courts and the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.  He is a former prosecutor at the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney's Office and a former adjunct professor of Business Law at McNeese State University.
