Philip M. Marr

Philip Marr is an Associate at Taylor Porter.  He joined the firm in 2024 and practices in various areas including commercial litigation.

Philip received his J.D./D.C.L., cum laude, from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2024 where he was a Dean’s Scholarship Recipient and a Dean Scholar. While in law school, Philip received the CALI award in Matrimonial Regimes.

Philip received his B.A. in history with a minor in political science from Louisiana State University in 2021.

Philip is West Law Certified in Foundations of Legal Research, Essential Legal Research, and Advanced Legal Research. Philip is also a co-author of the Westlaw Practical Law article “Hiring Requirements – Louisiana.”
