John Milazzo Appointed to the Louisiana Bankers Association (LBA) Bank Counsel Committee

Taylor Porter is pleased to announce that Partner John A. Milazzo, Jr. was recently appointed to serve on the Bank Counsel Committee of the Louisiana Bankers Association (LBA). The Bank Counsel Committee serves as the leadership group for the Bank Counsel Membership Section of the LBA. The Committee provides input and guidance regarding important legal and legislative issues impacting the Louisiana banking industry.

John’s practice has involved multiple aspects of banking law and secured lending since he started at Taylor Porter 12 years ago. He represents commercial banks and loan servicers in bankruptcies, loan workouts and litigation, including foreclosures and defense of lender liability suits. He also advises bank clients on regulatory compliance issues. John received his J.D. from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Prior to law school, John graduated from Millsaps College in 2009 and received his Master of Business Administration from Millsaps College Else School of Management in 2010.
