Matthew Bond Pettaway

Matt Pettaway is a Partner at Taylor Porter practicing in multiple areas, including civil litigation, bankruptcy law, insurance coverage disputes, breach of contract disputes, debt collection, creditors’ rights, employment law, construction law, and business and commercial law.

Matt earned his J.D. and D.C.L. in 2010 from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, and he obtained his B.S. in Business Management from Louisiana State University in 2006.

Mr. Pettaway has been a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association since 2010 and is licensed to practice in Louisiana state courts and the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. He is a former prosecutor at the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office and a former adjunct professor of Business Law at McNeese State University.
