Michael A. Grace

Associate

Michael Grace is an Associate at Taylor Porter practicing in various areas of insurance defense, commercial litigation, and intellectual property law. Michael's intellectual property practice emphasizes software transactions, including development agreements, licensing agreements, and user agreements.

Michael earned his J.D. in 2018 from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, and received his B.S. in general business from LSU in 2014.

Formerly, Michael served as a law clerk for Chief District Judge Shelly Dick in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, in which his workload included Section 1983 civil rights cases, products liability cases, and various employment matters. Michael also received law clerk experience at various law firms in the areas of real estate, estate planning, and personal injury matters. Michael served as a session intern in the House Communications Office for the Louisiana House of Representatives.

In the community, Michael is a former president of the LSU Law Golf Club; former volunteer mentor for Kids Hope USA at University Terrace Elementary; and served as a Marshal for the Tureaud Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta.
