Yadira Crespo-Orosco

Yadira Crespo-Orosco joined Taylor Porter in 2022 and practices in general tort litigation, commercial litigation and insurance defense.

Yadira received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Southern University Law Center in 2022.  She was an editor of the Southern University Law Review and The Public Defender Newspaper.  She authored “Concubine or Dependent: Perez v. Irby Construction Co. and the Antiquated Workers’ Compensation Statutes Barring Dependents,” published in Volume 48 of the Southern University Law Review.  Yadira received the CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Writing, Criminal Procedure, Louisiana Civil Procedure II, and Business Entities.  She was also a member of the LatinX/Hispanic Law Students Organization, Women in Law Association, and the Pro Bono Association.  She earned her B.S. from Louisiana State University in 2018.

Yadira is bilingual.  She is fluent in both English and Spanish.  She has worked as a translator at a health clinic where she translated for doctors and nurse practitioners and their patients.
