Bethany joined the firm in 2023, where she practices in various areas including construction litigation, commercial litigation, real estate, and commercial transactions. Prior to joining the firm, Bethany practiced in the areas of medical malpractice, general liability, and insurance defense litigation.
Bethany holds a current Louisiana notary commission and is certified by the Louisiana Secretary of State to perform Remote Online Notarizations (RON).
Bethany served as a two-term judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judge A. Gerard Caswell for the 27th Judicial District Court in St. Landry Parish.
She received her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While attending law school, Bethany served as a judicial extern at the Louisiana Supreme Court to Justice James T. Genovese. Bethany was awarded the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center Social Justice and Public Service Award and the St. Thomas More Public Service Award in recognition of her dedication to public service. She also received the highest grade in her legal research and writing and real estate transaction courses. Bethany graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Psychology. In 2024, she completed the Business Law Seminar offered by the Louisiana Contractor’s Accreditation Institute in conjunction with Louisiana Economic Development, Louisiana Licensing Board for Contractors, and Louisiana Community and Technical College System to further her legal education in construction law.
Bethany is currently admitted to practice in all state courts in Louisiana. She is also admitted in all Louisiana courts of appeal, all Louisiana federal courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the Louisiana Supreme Court. Bethany is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association (Construction Section), American Bar Association (Construction Forum), and the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit (BAFFC). She is also a member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel (LADC).
In the community, Bethany is a member of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge where she will serve a two-year term from 2025-2027.
